Deaf Awareness Day November 1, 2025
Hello! We have some announcements and a question for the community. Member at Large Eric Nooker created this vlog.
We have been working hard to strengthen the organization internally, including the merger of the c4 and c3 statuses into c3 status. This will save a lot of time and money and will reduce confusion.
A question we have is, how can MADC improve collaboration in the community? Please let us know your thoughts! (email board@minndeaf.org or contact one of the board members.)
We also encourage you to renew your MADC membership. To renew membership, go to the form link provided. Membership is $11/year. MADC board is excited to continue working with you, to advocate for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Minnesotans.
Lastly, we have 2 big events coming up this fall. MADC's biennial conference and Deaf Awareness Day (DAD). DAD will be held on November 1, 2025 at the Crystal Community Center. We will share more information soon about both events, conference and DAD.We hope to see you there!

Update on Board Changes - please watch vlog below.
Kathleen Smith and Kim Wassenaar have resigned for personal reasons. MADC are thankful for their time and service that they have invested with MADC board in the past year and wish them the best of luck. Lindsey Moon has become President as per the bylaws.

Rescheduled Special Meeting about c3/c4
Hello! There will be a rescheduled special meeting to decide about c3 and c4 statuses.

An update about the Deaf Day with the Wolves on Saturday, February 8, 2025. If you have purchased tickets, meet at 5 pm at George Mikan Statue in Target Center Lobby to start off the Deaf Day with the Wolves. More information in the vlog below.
