Guess what? MADC has some news for you! MADC is excited to share about an upcoming event on November 9, 2024 - Deaf Awareness Day: a community event and a resource fair with organizations serving Deaf* community, Deaf*-owned businesses and more.

Date: November 9, 2024

Time: 10 AM to 3 PM

Location: North Hennepin Community College, Brooklyn Park, MN.

​It will be held in Grand Hall (room 195) inside Center for Business & Technology building, at North Hennepin Community College, Brooklyn Park campus. The address is 7411 85th Avenue North, Brooklyn Park, MN, 55445. Door #12. 

 

Where to park: There are two big parking lots on either side of the campus. We recommend the East parking lot since that will be closer to the building. Park in the East Parking Lot off of 85th Ave N and come through door #12 and Grand Hall is on your left. Campus map can be found at https://www.nhcc.edu/about-nhcc/campus-maps.

There will be information about c3 and c4, which is separate for members only from 10:30 am to 12 pm in the classroom near to the Grand Hall. This information session will be in the classroom next to Great Hall from 10:30am to noon for members only. The purpose of information is to explain about c3 and c4 is to combine into one status.Treasurer Kelsey Dahl will explain in depth to provide transparency. If not sure if a member or current/expired member, you can check with us by contacting us at membership@minndeaf.org

 

Also, after DAD, ASL night out will be at Heavy Rotation Brewing Company in Brooklyn Park at 7pm nearby. After DAD, come and socialize!
